🍟 Light, crispy hake fillets baked to perfection, served with golden homemade fries — a simple, healthy, and delicious meal ready for any day of the week!

Ingredients

For the fish:

🐟 4 hake fillets (or any white fish)

🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste

🍋 Lemon juice (for drizzling)

🌿 Dried parsley

🌾 1 teaspoon flour (for dusting)

🛢️ Olive oil for brushing

For the fries:

🥔 4 large potatoes

🧂 Salt, to taste

🛢️ Olive oil for baking

Preparation

1. 🥣 Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. 🐟 Season the hake fillets with salt, pepper, a drizzle of lemon juice, and sprinkle with dried parsley. Let rest for 10 minutes.

3. 🌾 Lightly dust the fillets with flour and brush with olive oil.

4. 🔥 Bake for 20–25 minutes until crispy and golden.

5. 🥔 Peel and cut the potatoes into fries. Toss with olive oil and salt.

6. 🍟 Spread fries on a separate baking tray and bake at the same time, flipping halfway through until golden and crisp (about 25–30 minutes).

7. 🍽️ Serve the baked fish with crispy fries and extra lemon wedges.
