Cooking steak has never been easier! With an air fryer, you get a perfectly seared exterior and a juicy, tender interior in just minutes. Ideal for a quick yet luxurious lunch or dinner!
Ingredients
- 🥩 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (250–300g each)
- 🛢 1 tbsp olive oil
- 🧂 Salt, to taste
- 🌿 Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 🧄 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 🌱 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary (optional)
- 🧈 1 tbsp butter (for serving)
Preparation
- 1️⃣ Preparation:
- Pat steaks dry with paper towels.
- Brush both sides with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and herbs.
- Let steaks sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- 2️⃣ Cooking:
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes.
- Place steaks in the basket, making sure they do not overlap.
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- 8 minutes = medium-rare
- 9 minutes = medium
- 10 minutes = medium-well
- Adjust timing depending on your steak thickness.
- 3️⃣ Resting:
- Remove steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Top each steak with a little butter before serving for extra richness.
