Ingredients
- 🥃 Honey rakija (medovača), chilled: 50 ml (1.7 fl oz)
- 💧 Very cold soda water: 120–150 ml (4–5 fl oz)
- 🍋 Lemon peel (plus 1–2 wheels), for oils & garnish: 1
- 🧊 Ice cubes: ≈1 cup (8–10 cubes)
- 🧂 Tiny pinch of salt (to pop the citrus; optional): ≈0.2 g (a few grains)
- 🍯 Honey syrup (optional, only if you like it sweeter): 5 ml (1 tsp / 0.17 fl oz)
Preparation
- 1️⃣ Fill a chilled highball with 🧊 ice.
- 2️⃣ Add 🥃 honey rakija (and 🍯 syrup if using).
- 3️⃣ Top with 💧 soda; give one gentle stir to keep bubbles lively.
- 4️⃣ Express 🍋 peel over the rim, swipe the glass with its oils, drop it in; add lemon wheel. Finish with a micro pinch of 🧂 salt if desired.
