Ingredients
- π« Green beans, trimmed (flat or round): 800 g (6β7 cups / 1.76 lb)

Onion, thinly sliced: 200 g (1Β½ cups / 7 oz)
- π§ Garlic, minced: 9 g (3 cloves / 0.32 oz)
- π« Extra-virgin olive oil: 80 ml (β

Crushed tomatoes or passata: 400 g (1ΒΎ cups / 14.1 oz)
- π₯ Waxy potatoes, 2 cm chunks (optional): 300 g (2 cups / 10.6 oz)
- π₯ Carrot, coins (optional): 120 g (1 cup / 4.2 oz)
- π§ Water or vegetable stock: 250β350 ml (1β1Β½ cups)
- πΏ Fresh parsley, chopped: 2 tbsp (8 g / 0.28 oz)
- πΏ Dried oregano: 1 tsp (1 g / 0.04 oz)
- π Lemon juice (finish): 10β15 ml (2β3 tsp / 0.34β0.5 fl oz)

Preparation
