Ingredients
- π 2 ripe bananas, frozen in slices, about 240 g (2 cups / 8.5 oz)
- π₯ 300 ml cold milk of choice (1ΒΌ cups / 10 fl oz)
- π₯£ 150 g Greek yogurt (β
cup / 5.3 oz)
- β« 30 g black sesame paste or black sesame powder (3 tbsp / 1.1 oz)
- π° 15 g tahini (1 tbsp / 0.5 oz)
- π― 20 ml honey or maple syrup (4 tsp / 0.7 fl oz)
- π§ 1 g fine sea salt (ΒΌ tsp / 0.04 oz)
- π§ 120 g ice cubes (1 cup / 4.2 oz)
- π± 6 g sesame seeds for topping, optional (2 tsp / 0.21 oz)
Preparation
- 1οΈβ£ Chill everything
- Make sure the bananas are frozen and the milk is cold, this is what makes it thick and creamy. βοΈ
- 2οΈβ£ Blend smooth
- Add milk, yogurt, black sesame paste, tahini, honey, salt, frozen banana, and ice to a high speed blender. Blend 45β60 seconds until completely silky. π₯€
- 3οΈβ£ Adjust thickness
- For thicker, add 60 g (Β½ cup / 2.1 oz) extra ice and blend 15 seconds. For thinner, add 30β60 ml (2β4 tbsp / 1β2 fl oz) milk and blend 10 seconds. βοΈ
