This isn’t restaurant pasta. This is nona’s pasta – the kind she threw together in one pot when everyone was hungry now. Fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil come together in a sauce that tastes like sunshine, with pasta that soaks it all up. It’s humble. It’s perfect.
1️⃣ In a large pot, heat 🫒 oil and sauté 🧄 garlic until fragrant.
2️⃣ Add 🍅 tomatoes, 🧂 salt, 🌶️ flakes (if using), and 💧 water.
3️⃣ Bring to a boil, then add 🍝 pasta straight into the pot.
4️⃣ Stir occasionally, cooking uncovered until pasta is al dente and sauce thickens (about 10–12 min).
5️⃣ Toss in 🌿 basil just before serving.
6️⃣ Top with 🧀 if you’re not fasting, or just inhale it straight.
