These crostini were grandma’s way of using day-old bread and making it taste like a delicacy. Crunchy base, juicy tomato, melted mozzarella – a combo that needs no fancy tricks. Perfect for guests… or for hiding in the kitchen and eating them all alone.
️⃣ Toast 🍞 bread slices lightly. Rub each with 🧄 garlic while still warm.
️⃣ Top with 🍅 chopped tomatoes and season with 🧂 salt and pepper.
️⃣ Add a slice of 🧀 mozzarella on top.
️⃣ Drizzle with 🫒 olive oil.
️⃣ Broil or bake at 200°C (390°F) for 5–7 min until cheese is bubbly.
️⃣ Garnish with 🌿 basil and serve warm.
