Ingredients
- π 500 g (1 lb) boneless chicken thighs, skin-on

- π₯ 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- For Teriyaki Sauce
- πΆ 60 ml (ΒΌ cup) soy sauce
- πΆ 60 ml (ΒΌ cup) mirin
- πΆ 60 ml (ΒΌ cup) sake
- π¬ 2 tbsp sugar
Preparation
- 1οΈβ£ Pat dry chicken thighs and season lightly with salt.
- 2οΈβ£ Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 3οΈβ£ Place chicken skin-side down and cook until golden and crispy (about 5β6 min).
- 4οΈβ£ Flip and cook the other side for 4β5 min until fully cooked.
- 5οΈβ£ Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar in a bowl to make the sauce.
- 6οΈβ£ Pour the sauce into the pan with chicken and simmer until thick and glossy.
