Description

Ingredients
🍗 500 g (1 lb) boneless chicken thighs, skin-on
🧂 Salt to taste
🥄 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For Teriyaki Sauce
🍶 60 ml (¼ cup) soy sauce
🍶 60 ml (¼ cup) mirin
🍶 60 ml (¼ cup) sake
🍬 2 tbsp sugar
Preparation
1️⃣ Pat dry chicken thighs and season lightly with salt.
2️⃣ Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
3️⃣ Place chicken skin-side down and cook until golden and crispy (about 5–6 min).
4️⃣ Flip and cook the other side for 4–5 min until fully cooked.
5️⃣ Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar in a bowl to make the sauce.
6️⃣ Pour the sauce into the pan with chicken and simmer until thick and glossy.
7️⃣ Coat the chicken evenly in the sauce.
8️⃣ Slice and serve with steamed rice, spooning extra sauce on top.
