π A perfectly seared tuna steak β juicy inside, crisp outside β flavored with garlic, lemon, and herbs. A light, protein-rich dish ready in minutes.
π 2 fresh tuna steaks (about 150β180g each)
π§ 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
π Juice and zest of Β½ lemon
π’οΈ 2 tbsp olive oil
πΏ Fresh parsley or thyme (optional)
π§ Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1. π§ Pat tuna steaks dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. π’οΈ In a skillet, heat olive oil over high heat.
3. π§ Add garlic and sautΓ© for 30 seconds (donβt burn it).
4. π₯ Add tuna steaks and sear 1Β½β2 minutes per side for medium-rare (or longer for well done).
5. π Squeeze lemon juice over just before removing from heat.
6. πΏ Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
