Description
🍋 A perfectly seared tuna steak — juicy inside, crisp outside — flavored with garlic, lemon, and herbs. A light, protein-rich dish ready in minutes.
Ingredients
🐟 2 fresh tuna steaks (about 150–180g each)
🧄 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
🍋 Juice and zest of ½ lemon
🛢️ 2 tbsp olive oil
🌿 Fresh parsley or thyme (optional)
🧂 Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
1. 🧂 Pat tuna steaks dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. 🛢️ In a skillet, heat olive oil over high heat.
3. 🧄 Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (don’t burn it).
4. 🔥 Add tuna steaks and sear 1½–2 minutes per side for medium-rare (or longer for well done).
5. 🍋 Squeeze lemon juice over just before removing from heat.
6. 🌿 Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
