Description

🍋 A perfectly seared tuna steak — juicy inside, crisp outside — flavored with garlic, lemon, and herbs. A light, protein-rich dish ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 🐟 2 fresh tuna steaks (about 150–180g each)
  • 🧄 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 🍋 Juice and zest of ½ lemon
  • 🛢️ 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 🌿 Fresh parsley or thyme (optional)
  • 🧂 Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  • 1. 🧂 Pat tuna steaks dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • 2. 🛢️ In a skillet, heat olive oil over high heat.
  • 3. 🧄 Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (don’t burn it).
  • 4. 🔥 Add tuna steaks and sear 1½–2 minutes per side for medium-rare (or longer for well done).
  • 5. 🍋 Squeeze lemon juice over just before removing from heat.
  • 6. 🌿 Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
