Ingredients
- π₯ Whisky (Indian whisky or bourbon): 60 ml (2 fl oz)
- π€ Tamarind concentrate (unsweetened): 20 ml (0.7 fl oz)
- π Fresh lime juice: 30 ml (1 fl oz)
- π― Simple or jaggery syrup: 15 ml (0.5 fl oz)
- π« Aquafaba or egg white (optional, for foam): 15 ml (0.5 fl oz)
- π§ Pinch of kala namak or sea salt (optional)
- βοΈ Ice cubes
- π Lime wheel or candied ginger, for garnish
Preparation
- 1οΈβ£ (If using aquafaba/egg white) Dry-shake whisky, tamarind, lime, and syrup 10β12 s.
- 2οΈβ£ Add ice and shake hard 10β12 s until well-chilled.
- 3οΈβ£ Fine-strain into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice (or into a coupe, no ice).
- 4οΈβ£ Optional tiny pinch of salt on top. Garnish and serve.
