Description
Light, fizzy, and ultra-refreshing — classic Indian lemonade lifted with a pinch of roasted cumin and kala namak for that irresistible savory sparkle 🫧.
Hook: 2-minute build, icy cold, big bubbles ⚡
Ingredients
- 🥃 Vodka: 50 ml (1.7 fl oz)
- 🍋 Fresh lemon juice: 25 ml (0.85 fl oz)
- 🍯 Simple syrup (or 2 tsp superfine sugar): 15 ml (0.5 fl oz)
- 💧 Chilled soda water: 120–150 ml (4–5 fl oz)
- 🧂 Kala namak (black salt): a pinch
- 🌿 Roasted cumin powder: a pinch (≈0.5 g)
- ❄️ Ice cubes
- 🍋 Lemon wheel & mint sprig, to garnish
Preparation
- 1️⃣ Fill a tall highball glass with ice.
- 2️⃣ Add vodka, lemon juice, and syrup; stir briefly to chill.
- 3️⃣ Top with soda water and give one gentle stir to keep carbonation.
- 4️⃣ Dust a pinch of cumin on top and finish with a tiny pinch of kala namak. Garnish with lemon and mint.
