Ingredients

  • 🥃 Vodka: 50 ml (1.7 fl oz)
  • 🍋 Fresh lemon juice: 25 ml (0.85 fl oz)
  • 🍯 Simple syrup (or 2 tsp superfine sugar): 15 ml (0.5 fl oz)
  • 💧 Chilled soda water: 120–150 ml (4–5 fl oz)
  • 🧂 Kala namak (black salt): a pinch
  • 🌿 Roasted cumin powder: a pinch (≈0.5 g)
  • ❄️ Ice cubes
  • 🍋 Lemon wheel & mint sprig, to garnish

Preparation

  • 1️⃣ Fill a tall highball glass with ice.
  • 2️⃣ Add vodka, lemon juice, and syrup; stir briefly to chill.
  • 3️⃣ Top with soda water and give one gentle stir to keep carbonation.
  • 4️⃣ Dust a pinch of cumin on top and finish with a tiny pinch of kala namak. Garnish with lemon and mint.
