🌴 Inspired by the flavors of the Middle East, this rich chocolate treat combines smooth dark chocolate with sweet dates, cardamom, and a touch of rose. Elegant, exotic, and deeply satisfying — no baking required.
🍫 200g dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa), chopped
🧈 50g butter or coconut oil
🥛 100ml condensed milk (or plant-based alternative)
🌴 100g soft Medjool dates, finely chopped
🌿 ½ tsp ground cardamom
🌸 1 tsp rose water (optional, but traditional)
🌰 2 tbsp chopped pistachios or almonds (for topping)
1. 🔥 In a small pot over low heat, melt butter with condensed milk until just warm.
2. 🍫 Add chopped chocolate and stir until smooth and glossy.
3. 🌴 Stir in chopped dates and ground cardamom.
4. 🌸 Add rose water, if using, and mix until fully incorporated.
5. 🧊 Pour the mixture into a small baking dish lined with parchment paper or into silicone molds.
6. 🌰 Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top. Gently press them into the surface.
7. ❄️ Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until firm. Slice into small squares and serve chilled.
