Description
Light, fizzy and floral—pomegranate, lemon and rose water shaken cold, then topped with bubbles for a sunset-in-a-glass sip. 🧊
Hook
Build a strong pomegranate–rose base, then add ice-cold soda at the very end so every sip stays bright and sparkling. ✨
Ingredients
- 🍇 Pomegranate juice, 100%: 120 ml (½ cup / 4 fl oz)
- 🍋 Fresh lemon juice: 40 ml (2½ tbsp / 1.3 fl oz)
- 🍯 Honey or agave syrup: 20–30 ml (1–2 tbsp / 0.7–1 fl oz)
- 🌹 Food-grade rose water: 5 ml (1 tsp / 0.17 fl oz)
- 💧 Cold water (to loosen the base): 60 ml (¼ cup / 2 fl oz)
- 🧊 Ice cubes: 8–10 small cubes (~120 g / 4.2 oz)
- 🥤 Chilled sparkling water (soda): 300 ml (1¼ cups / 10 fl oz)
- 🍊 Lemon or orange slices, for garnish
- 🍃 Fresh mint leaves or pomegranate arils, for garnish
Preparation
- 1️⃣ Make the flavor base
- In a small jug, whisk together pomegranate juice, lemon juice, honey/agave, rose water and cold water until the sweetener fully dissolves (about 30–60 sec). Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon.
- 2️⃣ Chill the glasses
- Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes to about ⅔ full and let them sit for 1–2 min so the glass becomes nicely chilled.
- 3️⃣ Build the drinks
- Divide the pomegranate–rose base evenly between the two glasses (about 110–120 ml / 3.7–4 fl oz per glass).
- 4️⃣ Top with bubbles
- Gently top each glass with chilled sparkling water (about 150 ml / 5 fl oz per glass), pouring down the side of the glass to keep the fizz. Give each drink one or two slow stirs with a long spoon.
- 5️⃣ Garnish & serve
- Garnish with a slice of lemon or orange and a sprig of mint or a few pomegranate arils. Serve immediately while ice-cold and bubbly.
