A classic Korean citrus soda made with yuja cheong, bright lemon, and sparkling water, sweet, tart, and super clean, like a premium cafe drink in 2 minutes. π

Ingredients
- Base
- π 60 g yuja cheong, Korean citron honey tea marmalade (3 tbsp / 2.1 oz)
- π 15 ml fresh lemon juice (1 tbsp / 0.5 fl oz)
- π«§ 300 ml cold sparkling water (1ΒΌ cups / 10 fl oz)
- π§ 200 g ice cubes (about 1Β½ cups / 7 oz)
- Optional
- π« 5 g fresh ginger, thin slices (1 tsp / 0.18 oz)
- πΏ 2 g mint leaves (6β8 leaves / 0.07 oz)
Preparation
- 1οΈβ£ Chill the glass
- Fill a tall glass with ice and let it cool for 30 sec, then pour off any water. π§
- 2οΈβ£ Build the citrus base
- Add yuja cheong and lemon juice to the bottom of the glass and stir until glossy. π
- 3οΈβ£ Add sparkle slowly
- Pour in sparkling water in a thin stream so it stays fizzy. π«§
- 4οΈβ£ Stir once
- Give one gentle stir to lift the citrus without killing the bubbles. π₯
- 5οΈβ£ Garnish
- Add a lemon wheel, plus ginger or mint if using, then serve immediately. π
