Ingredients
- 🥖 1 Italian hoagie roll or crusty sub bread
- 🥩 50g salami
- 🥩 50g capicola
- 🥩 50g mortadella
- 🧀 50g provolone cheese
- 🥬 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 🍅 1 medium tomato, diced
- 🧅 1/4 red onion, finely sliced
- 🌶️ 2 tbsp pickled banana peppers or pepperoncini, chopped
- 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
- 🥄 2 tbsp Italian dressing or red wine vinegar
- 🫒 1 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
- 1️⃣ On a large cutting board, stack the meats and provolone. Slice and chop them into small bits.
- 2️⃣ Add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, red onion, and pickled peppers. Continue chopping all together until well mixed.
- 3️⃣ Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar (or dressing), then season with 🧂 salt and pepper. Use a spoon or clean hands to toss the mix evenly.
