🍑🥄 Lazy Peach Dumplings (So Easy, It’s Almost Cheating)

Description

These were grandma’s go-to when guests showed up “by surprise” (a.k.a. with zero warning). Soft pastry, juicy peaches, and that gooey syrup that makes you close your eyes and say mmm out loud. Zero effort. Max comfort.

Ingredients

🥄 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry (defrosted)

🍑 4 canned peach halves (or fresh, if you’re feeling fancy)

🧈 2 tbsp melted butter

🍯 2 tbsp honey or sugar

🧂 A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

🥚 1 egg (for egg wash)

Preparation

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

2️⃣ Cut puff pastry into 4 equal squares.

3️⃣ Place one peach half in the center of each square.

4️⃣ Drizzle with butter, honey, and cinnamon.

5️⃣ Fold pastry corners over the peach like you’re tucking it in for a nap.

6️⃣ Brush with egg wash.

7️⃣ Bake for 20–25 min until golden and puffy.
