Panzerotti su kao džepovi sreće – pržena ili pečena peciva punjena sirom i paradajzom, koja krckaju pod prstima i cure iznutra. Ovo nije fast food. Ovo je nona’s “you missed lunch? no problem” rešenje – zlatno, toplo i potpuno neodoljivo.
🌾 300 g (2 1/3 cups) all-purpose flour
🍞 1 tsp dry yeast
🥄 1 tsp sugar
🧂 1/2 tsp salt
💧 160 ml (2/3 cup) warm water
🫒 1 tbsp olive oil
🧀 150 g (5 oz) shredded mozzarella
🍅 3 tbsp tomato sauce
🌿 Oregano or basil (optional)
🔥 Oil for frying (or bake at 200°C / 390°F)
1️⃣ Mix 🌾 flour, 🍞 yeast, 🥄 sugar, 🧂 salt, 💧 warm water, and 🫒 oil. Knead into soft dough.
2️⃣ Let rise 1 hour until doubled.
3️⃣ Divide into 6 balls. Roll each into a small circle.
4️⃣ Fill with 1 tbsp 🧀 cheese, 1/2 tbsp 🍅 sauce, and 🌿 herbs.
5️⃣ Fold into half-moon, seal edges well.
6️⃣ Fry in hot oil until golden (2–3 min per side) or bake 20 min.
7️⃣ Drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
