Description

Ingredients
π 300β―g white fish fillets (cod or tilapia), skinless (10.5 oz)
π§ 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
π« 15β―g fresh ginger, julienned (1 tbsp)
π§ 2 scallions, julienned
π₯’ 30β―ml light soy sauce (2 tbsp)
π 5β―ml rice vinegar (1 tsp)
π― 5β―ml sesame oil (1 tsp)
πΆοΈ Optional: 1 small red chili, thinly sliced
π§ Salt to taste
π« 15β―ml neutral oil (1 tbsp) β for flash heating
Preparation
1οΈβ£ Place fish fillets on a heatproof plate, season lightly with salt.
2οΈβ£ Scatter with half of the ginger, garlic, and scallions.
3οΈβ£ Steam for 8β10 minutes until just cooked.
4οΈβ£ Mix soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
5οΈβ£ Pour sauce over steamed fish.
6οΈβ£ Heat neutral oil until shimmering, then pour over aromatics on fish.
7οΈβ£ Garnish with remaining scallions and chili. Serve hot.
