Warm, umami-rich, and deeply grounding — Miso Soup is Japan’s most iconic comfort food. Made with fermented miso paste, dashi broth, silky tofu, seaweed, and scallions, this soup is served daily in Japanese homes. It's light yet nourishing, perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients
💧 600 ml dashi broth (2½ cups)
🍥 2 tbsp white or mixed miso paste
🧈 100 g soft tofu, cut into cubes (3.5 oz)

Advice
Never boil the soup after adding miso — high heat kills its probiotics and ruins the delicate flavor.
