Advice
Keep everything very cold—chilled glass, liqueurs, and soda. Minimal stirring preserves carbonation and that misty “cloud” look as the mint and anise swirl.
Why it works
Sweet, herbal menta softens mastika’s anise punch; dilution from soda opens aromas while the citrus oils bridge mint and anise for a crisp, fragrant finish.
Twist
Go half-and-half over crushed ice for a slushier beach version; or add 30 ml (1 oz) fresh lemonade for a lighter, low-ABV afternoon sip.
