Description

🥄 Creamy, gently sweet rice pudding slowly cooked in milk — sutlijaš je klasik koji prija i kao desert i kao doručak. Topao, hladan, uvek utešan.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. 1. 💧 Rinse rice well under cold water.
  2. 2. 🍚 In a large pot, add rice and half of the milk. Cook on low heat, stirring often.
  3. 3. 🥛 As it thickens, gradually add remaining milk in portions, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
  4. 4. 🍬 When rice is tender (after ~30–40 min), add sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Cook 5 more minutes.
  5. 5. 🥄 Pour into bowls while warm. Serve warm or chilled. Sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.
