Description
Crispy on the outside, melty cheese flowing from the center!
No baking, no rolling β just one pan and 15 minutes to pure joy.
Looks like a bakery classic, tastes even better.
Ingredients
π« 4 phyllo pastry sheets (thin, fresh if possible)
π§ 250 g cottage cheese or feta + shredded mozzarella
π₯ 1 egg
π₯ 2 tbsp yogurt
π§ 1 tbsp butter (melted)
π« 2 tbsp oil
π§ Salt, if needed
Preparation
1οΈβ£ Mix π§ cheese, π₯ egg and π₯ yogurt in a bowl β season to taste.
2οΈβ£ Brush the first phyllo sheet with the butter-oil mix and lay it in a nonstick pan, edges hanging over.
3οΈβ£ Layer remaining sheets, brushing each and adding spoonfuls of the cheese mix between them.
4οΈβ£ Fold the overhanging edges over the top to close it. Brush the top as well.
5οΈβ£ Cover and cook over medium heat for 7 minutes. Flip like a pancake and cook another 5β7 minutes until golden.
6οΈβ£ Slice while hot β cheese should stretch, crust should crackle. Magic.
