Ingredients

  • 🥄 250 g flour
  • 🍫 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 🍬 150 g sugar
  • 🧁 1 packet baking powder
  • 🧂 Pinch of salt
  • ☕ 100 ml strong black coffee (cooled)
  • 💧 150 ml sparkling water
  • 🫒 50 ml oil
  • 🌰 50 g ground walnuts
  • 🍫 Optional: a few squares of vegan dark chocolate for topping

Preparation

  • 1️⃣ In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, salt, walnuts.
  • 2️⃣ Add ☕ coffee, 💧 sparkling water, and 🫒 oil. Stir until smooth.
  • 3️⃣ Pour into a greased and floured baking dish (about 20x20 cm).
  • 4️⃣ Top with pieces of 🍫 dark chocolate if desired.
  • 5️⃣ Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 25–30 minutes.
  • 6️⃣ Let cool and cut into squares.
